Wow, that’s powerful.
Let’s say someone cuts you off in traffic. Or says something offensive to you. Maybe that problem is a size 1/10 or 2/10. Do you MAKE it a 5?
Let’s say you’re diagnosed with cancer. Maybe that problem is a size 9/10 or 10/10. Do you MAKE it a 5?
At the end of the day, the size of our problems is measured against OUR SIZE. The STRONGER we are, the WEAKER our problems FEEL to us.
We can minimize the size of our problems by being resilient, proactive, courageous, and calm. We can maximize them by being negative, reactive, afraid, and anxious.
When we blame, point fingers, gossip, or triangulate- our problems GROW. Not because the problems are worse, but because WE’RE worse.
If you want a better life and want to be happier, more successful, or more “personally powerful” (ALL the things I wrote about in my 2nd book, 6 H.A.B.I.T.S), YOU MUST:
