We hear this all the time.

Before writing my books, I imagined that the process would be NOTHING by easy, fun, and exciting.

Boy, was I wrong!

There was SOME of that (plenty!) but there were also several mistakes and setbacks along the way. There were times I felt like I was failing. There were times I questioned and doubted myself. The most recent mishap (waiting 5 weeks for hardbacks to arrive) has been especially frustrating, irritating and I’ve even felt embarrassed and ashamed.

Needless to say, these thoughts have caused me some depression.

In the worst of times, I’ve reminded myself that I have AGENCY.
